Learn real sewing, guided by over 40 years of experience.
Private or small-group classes, from beginner fundamentals to advanced patternmaking and haute couture techniques, in professional graduate studios in the Bronx and Brooklyn. Classes are offered in English and Spanish by confirmed reservation.
Graduate-managed studios and one expert instructor.
These spaces are not schools or retail stores with exterior signs. They are complete sewing, garment-making and design studios managed by graduates who now work professionally and earn their living through this craft.
The graduates manage the studios, but they do not replace the instructor: every class is taught by the same instructor with more than 40 years of experience. The studios provide the machines, tables and tools needed for each class and project.
Attendance is by appointment only: after your reservation is confirmed, you receive the location and arrival instructions. We are building a graduate network with a five-state vision to bring the instructor's teaching closer to new students.
